Man arrested over Joanna Yeates murder

A 32 year old man has been arrested in the morning of Thursday the 20th on the suspicion of murdering the landscape architect Joanna Yeates.

The arrest took place in the early morning of Avon and Somerset, but the police did not gave the information away where the arrest would take place. The police can not say more about the arrest, because the proceedings are still active and so the details are not free to give to the public. Detective Chief Inspector Phil Jones, the leader in the murder investigation, does have thanked the public and the family for their support and believe in the investigation.

reaction: I find it incredible that the police has made an arrest this quickly, because it is just one month ago that Joanna Yeates body was found. The only clue they had was a missing sock they had to find if they wanted to solve the murder. Of course the man who is arrested is just a suspect and is innocent until proven guilty, but still chapeau for the Avon and Somerset police department.
